Cognitronics have been in the Data Capture industry since 1977, in this time we have always adopted a company policy to supply 'Best of Breed' specialised scanners from around the world. Once the scanner has been identified, evaluated, tested and proven, we work closely with the manufacturer to ensure that we develop and maintain the advantage over the competition.
Our policy goes a little further by means of building relationships and trust with our supplier. We do not change our scanner suppliers at the drop of a hat, in fact quite the opposite, we have built business relationships that extend to in some instances to 24 years, in this time have worked with the manufacturer to maintain and enhance the product to earn the right to be deemed as 'Best of Breed'.
What deems a product to be 'Best of Breed'?
Simple, the best quality at a reasonable price and above all the fast response to react to client needs.
In all we treat the term 'Best of Breed' very seriously, and do not jump from one supplier to the next just because it is cheaper. We feel that in the long term our clients require and expect a scanner that will last and not just be good for a year or two. In fact we have scanners still in operation that have been going way past their considered natural life expectancy. This is solely down to the quality of the product, our dedication to maintenance of the product and the support that we receive from our suppliers.
