The MCR and OMR peripherals are used in applications where image is not required, and only the codeline of the document is required. This range of equipment is normally used but not limited to applications such as:
Proof of Deposit (front counter)

The OMR3002 incorporates an additional OCR read head to enable the reading of both banking and financial documents. |

Their small footprint is ideal for space critical applications. Both codeline readers can be supplied and interfaced either by RS232 or Keyboard Wedge emulation.
The codeline readers can be equipped with a front pre-inked stamp, a magnetic card reader and an Optical Pen for Barcode reading.
