Redemption Solution Upgrade

A nationwide high profile shopping outlet have upgraded their Voucher Redemption system previously installed in September 2007 using the SCN6005, to now utilising the higher capacity SO Scanner.

CogniScan is a scalable product, demonstrated in this instance where the growth of the incentive program was addressed by simply upgrading the scanning equipment from the SCN6005 to the SO Scanner, leaving the application virtually unchanged. This is achieved by the modular build of CogniScan, where an upgrade is possible by simply changing the scanner along with the Data Capture Module leaving the remaining modules untouched.

Software Deployment

A Midlands based company processing Government Voucher using multiple SCN6005 units has due to the success of the scheme tasked Cognitronics to develop the current CogniScan application to process a new range of documents.

In yet another example of how Cognitronics have gained a 'can-do' reputation during our 30 years of operations, is that in this instance the client had an immediate requirement meaning that the additional development had to be delivered within days to ensure that revenue was not lost. We understand loss of revenue is the last thing any company wants, so all the stops were pulled out to make things happen within the required deadlines.

Cognitronics prides itself on being a flexible and accommodating organisation with short lines of communication to relevant resources making it possible to quickly assess what is required to 'get the job done'.

System Upgrade

One of our long standing Voucher Redemption customers, in excess of 15 years based in the North West, have tasked Cognitronics to upgrade their current 400 Series transport to the T400C. This upgrade involved updating all electronics from the 400 Series to current technology, in addition to a total rewrite of the software introducing the software platform "CogniScan".

This development was designed and undertaken by our own in-house development department here at our Head Office in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

New Product Development

Cognitronics has embarked on a new product development for the automation of identifying unopened envelope content. This application amongst others lends itself to the 'Goneaways' mail market, where databases need to be updated for retuned mail. This is an extremely manual task for any organisation, which we are developing with a long standing partner.........Watch this space!!!!!!!

Solution Expansion

A Trade Association in the South-West of England have ordered a second scanning system from Cognitronics to process their increased work load for their Voucher Redemption application. This additional SCN6005 including the Data Capture Module doubles the capacity of the original system installed back in May 2007.

The Voucher Redemption solution, as all of our data capture solutions, are based on our core product CogniScan, which has a modular build meaning our solutions are scalable giving the customer the comfort factor that our solutions can expand in manageable modules rather than restricting them with costly development and/or integration costs.

Cognitronics were amongst the exhibitors at a very successful VA Conference held at the Marriot Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London back in April 2008.
